Principal & Founder Patron"True education liberates the mind and inculcates values that stand the test of time."
Dear Parents, Students, and Well-Wishers,
Welcome to Bal Bharati Senior Secondary School, Motadhak, Kotdwara. Ever since our inception in 1989 after my retirement from the Indian Air Force, our mission has been singular and unswerving: to establish "A School with a Difference" that offers high-quality, value-anchored education to the children of Kotdwara and the surrounding Garhwal region.
Rooted in our timeless Vedic philosophy "Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye" (Knowledge is that which liberates), we believe education must not merely prepare students for examinations; it must cultivate independent thinking, emotional fortitude, ethical character, and social responsibility.
At Bal Bharati, every child is recognized as unique. Our rigorous CBSE curriculum is complemented by hands-on science and computer laboratories, dedicated sports coaching, interactive co-curricular workshops on study habits and stress awareness, and personalized pastoral care.
As educators, our responsibility is to guide students to navigate the complex challenges of the 21st century while keeping their feet firmly grounded in humility, respect, and duty towards society. I invite parents and mentors to collaborate with us as partners in shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
