Mr. G. S. Rawat
Founder Patron & PrincipalConceiving "A School with a Difference"
The genesis of Bal Bharati Senior Secondary School lies in the visionary dedication of its Founder Patron, Mr. G. S. Rawat. Following an illustrious and disciplined career in the Indian Air Force, from which he retired with honor in 1988, Mr. Rawat resolved to dedicate his post-defense life to societal enrichment through education.
Observing the scarcity of rigorous, English-medium educational institutions in Kotdwara that paired modern academic standards with deep-seated moral discipline and Indian ethos, he mobilized local support to establish Bal Bharati School in 1989. Over the subsequent decades, the institution evolved from modest beginnings into a premier senior secondary institution.
